Charles Cowart, Ph. D
Managing Director | Licensed PsychologistDr. Charles "Chuck" Cowart is a licensed Psychologist specializing in organizational development, leadership development, and assessment. Dr. Cowart has served as an adviser and coach to CEO and C-level executives across many organizations, ranging from the Fortune 100 to a variety of closely held, private, and family businesses. He has been actively involved in management consulting for twenty-five years.
Read full bioOriginally, his practice focused on research, program development, program evaluation, and behavioral and cognitive therapy for inpatient and outpatient populations. In the late 1980's, Dr. Cowart shifted his consulting practice to organizational settings and initially worked under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Bleke, among the most preeminent Corporate Psychologists in national practice. For the last twenty-five years, Dr. Cowart has focused on providing services in larger organizational settings and has been a valuable resource to both domestic and global clients. Deeply involved in selection, succession, talent management, problem solving, team functioning, post-merger integration, and leadership development, Dr. Cowart maintains a thriving global consultancy. His personal interests include sport fishing, hi-fi audio, tennis, and BMW motorcycles. Living in the Atlanta metro area, he is married and has one amazing daughter.
Courtney C. Rabin, MBA, MSIS
Director of OperationsCourtney Rabin holds dual Master's Degrees in Business Administration and Information Systems. She offers specific talents in leadership training, program development, project management, and enterprise-level selection protocol implementation. Courtney is a National Merit Scholarship recipient, an alumni member of University of Georgia Alpha Kappa Psi chapter, a Dean's List graduate from Kennesaw State University, an Honors Graduate from the Coles College of Business, and a published contributor on LinkedIn Pulse. Courtney combines her experience in Psychology with a broad understanding of business challenges related to people, processes, and technology.
Gene Barger, Ph. D
Senior Consultant | Licensed PsychologistDr. Gene Barger has consulted for over twenty-five years with a broad spectrum of public, private, and family owned companies. As a licensed psychologist, he is able to draw upon his education, formal training, and experience as a strong foundation for understanding the various leadership challenges facing organizations today. Over the years, Gene has served as a “trusted advisor” to owners, partners, directors, and senior managers, assisting them in successfully addressing a variety of needs related to succession planning, talent selection and proper deployment, leadership development, teambuilding, and executive coaching.

His observations and assessment skills provide the objectivity that is often needed to make proper decisions with regard to organizational structure and “getting the right people in the right seats.” His executive coaching and teambuilding abilities enable him to proactively address the potential interpersonal and political “derailers” that often undermine a successful integration. Other value added services include: the blending of respective boards; culture/teambuilding with directors and senior leaders; 360° feedback programs; and performance enhancement systems. Dr. Barger grew up in Atlanta and earned his Ph.D. from Georgia State University. in 1987. He is married with two children and along with his community and church activities, enjoys participating in a variety of hobbies including golf, tennis, kayaking, hunting, and fishing.
Gordon Kenney, Ph. D
Senior Consultant | Licensed PsychologistDr. Gordon Kenney is a Licensed Psychologist in Georgia and Tennessee. He joined Drs. Barger and Cowart in 1997 soon after receiving his Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Memphis. Dr. Kenney graduated from Georgia State University with a Master's degree in Community Counseling, and from Rhodes College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. His specialties include pre-employment selection system design and implementation, coaching and development, multirater feedback, team and organizational analytics, and leadership research.
